Tri the Hook
Tri-the-Hook is an annual Sprint Triathlon event which takes place on the Hook Peninsula, Co Wexford. The 2012 event will take place on the 11th of August 2012 in and around the village of Fethard-on-Sea, Co Wexford.
The event is a Sprint Triathlon which is suitable for triathletes of all levels of ability. The triathlon consists of a 750 meter Swim, a 20km Cycle course around the Hook Peninsula, and a 5k Run to arrive back in the village of Fethard-on-Sea.
Tri-the-Hook is sanctioned by Triathlon Ireland.
The event is run by Hook Tourism which is a voluntary organisation that promotes tourism for the Hook Peninsula in the Sunny South East.
- The cost of an individual entry for Tri-the-Hook is €40.00*
- The cost for a relay team is €75.00*
- Individual entry for both Du-the-Hook and Tri-the-Hook is €55.00*
